Tottenham Hotspur seemingly hope to sign Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski in January, but he has just saved his side in the Champions League.
Tottenham chasing Kulusevski
The Mirror reported in September that Fabio Paratici is keen to sign Kulusevski for Tottenham when the January window opens.
Paratici signed Kulusevski for Juventus in 2020, so it’s no great shock that he wants him again.
Calciomercato add that Juve could sell Kulusevski to Tottenham in order to fund a move for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Kulusevski is an outstanding young talent, and the prospect of him on the right, Son Heung-min on the left and Harry Kane up top is mouth-watering.
Getting Kulusevski won’t be cheap or easy, and Tottenham’s hopes may have taken a dent.
Kulusevski saves Juventus
Kulusevski was given a chance as a substitute for Juventus against Zenit St Petersburg on Wednesday night.
With time ticking away, Mattia De Sciglio sent a cross into the box. Kulusevski drifted in from the right flank and flicked a header in off the post.

That gave Juventus a 1-0 win, with Kulusevski the hero.
Kulusevski may now push himself into the starting XI regularly. He has only started once in Serie A this season and hasn’t started at all in the Champions League.
If this goal doesn’t prove to be the springboard for Kulusevski, Tottenham should absolutely make a move in January.
The coming weeks could be make or break for the Swedish ace.
