According to Calciomercato, Tottenham face competition from Juventus in the race to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
What’s the story?
Well, a separate report from Calciomercato claimed that Tottenham were in talks with Fiorentina over a deal for the Serbia international.
Now, it’s being said that Juventus want to steal a march on their rivals and sign Vlahovic in January.
However, Fabio Paratici’s former club cannot do so unless they offload some players to balance the books.
One player who could potentially be sold as a result is Dejan Kulusevski, who is coincidentally another target for Nuno Espirito Santo.
It was the Sunday Mirror who revealed that Kulusevski is a target for Paratici – Tottenham’s Director of Football actually signed the Swede for £37m while at Juventus.
So, it seems that even if Spurs fail to sign Vlahovic, it could then allow them to have a fantastic chance to sign Kulusevski.
When one door closes, another opens.
What would Dejan Kulusevski offer Tottenham?

If Spurs were to get their hands on the 21-year-old, he would be just a good a signing as Vlahovic would’ve been.
The Juventus No.44 has been likened to Kevin De Bruyne, while Cristiano Ronaldo has also sung his praises in the past.
The Manchester United No.7 told Juventus: “He is a great talent. He will help us to win and achieve incredible things.
“I really like to see him, he has a great potential, and he’s an excellent player. I hope to play with him and score a lot of goals together.”

Kulusevski is predominately a right-sided forward, although he has played on the left and also in the centre for Juventus so far this season (Transfermarkt).
His arrival would give Nuno a frightening frontline.
An attack of Heung-min Son, Harry Kane and Kulusevski is enough to upset most defences in Europe.
Of course, if Juventus fail to sign Vlahovic, this opportunity will not arise, so make sure to keep an eye on the situation involving both Serie A stars.
