Simon Jordan has criticised Tottenham Hotspur central defender Davinson Sanchez on talkSPORT (10:12am, February 14, 2022) for his performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend.
The former Crystal Palace owner was not impressed by Sanchez, as Tottenham suffered a 2-0 loss to Wolves at home in the Premier League.
The Colombia international started on the right of a back-three for Antonio Conte’s side.
The 25-year-old – has been on the books of Tottenham since 2017 when he joined from Ajax for £42 million (The Guardian) – was sloppy and struggled against Wolves attackers.
Football.London gave Sanchez 4 out of 10.
Jordan said about Sanchez on talkSPORT (10:12am, February 14, 2022): “Davinson Sanchez was scandalously poor. There have been discussions about him for some time.”

Should Joe Rodon come in for Davinson Sanchez at Tottenham?
In our view, Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte should seriously consider Joe Rodon instead of Sanchez in the upcoming games, if Eric Dier does not recover.
Sanchez has not been great recently, and Rodon does deserve a chance.
Now, maybe the Wales international central defender needs to do more in training, but until and unless, we see the former Swansea City star in action for a few games, we will not be able to judge if he is good or bad for the team.
