Tottenham Hotspur are leading Arsenal and Manchester United in the race for AC Milan central midfielder Franck Kessie, according to The Express.

Franck Kessie in demand

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham have reportedly been in contact with Kessie’s representatives.

Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in the Milan star as well.

Franck Kessie is out of contract at Milan at the end of the season.

The Ivory Coast international central midfielder has reportedly told Milan that he will not sign a new deal.

Big step for Tottenham Hotspur

In our opinion, it is a big step from Tottenham to make contact with Franck Kessie’s representatives.

From January 1, the former Atalanta midfielder will be able to sign a pre-contract agreement with a club outside Italy.

And, based on the report in The Express, Tottenham could find themselves bagging an excellent free agent.

Franck Kessie is very highly rated in the world of football and is still only 25.

This means that the Milan star can only get better and improve in the coming years.

Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte will be well aware of Kessie from his time in Italy.

And, in our view, he would be a very good signing for Spurs, especially on a free transfer.
