Ajax are about to make a second bid for Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn and remain keen on signing him in the January transfer window, according to The Times.
The Times have reported that Ajax have had a loan bid for Bergwijn turned down by Tottenham.
The Eredivisie club then made an offer of £15 million for the 24-year-old Netherlands international winger, but that was still not enough for Tottenham.
However, Ajax are not giving up.
The defending Dutch champions will reportedly make another offer now and hope to get the transfer deal wrapped up before the match against Utrecht on Sunday.

Steven Bergwijn to leave Tottenham for Ajax?
In our view, it seems that it is only a matter of time before Bergwijn leaves Tottenham.
And perhaps it will be Ajax who will secure the services of the 24-year-old, who is “improving day by day”, according to Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte in Football.London in December 2021.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Tottenham have decided to sell Bergwijn.
And with Ajax now so keen on the Dutchman, in our opinion, it is very likely that the winger will leave Tottenham in the coming days.
