Tottenham are interested in Filip Kostic and now seem ready to make their move for the Eintracht Frankfurt star this summer.

Tottenham are back in the Champions League having clinched a top four finish on Sunday afternoon.

Antonio Conte will now hope for big additions this summer to really help drive Tottenham forward.

ENIC’s £150million cash injection certainly helps and there are a host of exciting names being linked with Tottenham.

One name that just won’t go away at the moment is Eintracht Frankfurt wide man Filip Kostic.

Tottenham are interested in Filip Kostic

The Independent’s Miguel Delaney reported last month that Tottenham were interested in signing Kostic.

That was ramped up just days ago as The Express claimed that Tottenham scouted Kostic against Rangers last week.

After seeing Kostic’s display in the Europa League final, Tottenham were thinking about a £25million bid.

It has now gone even further as Football London suggest that Tottenham are now ‘expected’ to make a move for Kostic this summer.

Entering the final 12 months of his Frankfurt deal, Tottenham may think they can secure a bargain for the Serbian star.

The Mirror even suggest that Tottenham love Kostic’s consistency and that’s one of the main reasons why they want him.

Given that Kostic is approaching his 30’s, he is seemingly viewed as an ideal older head to compete with Ryan Sessegnon at left wing back.

Add in that Kostic can play further forward and Tottenham may feel that he is a versatile threat going forward.

Kostic has racked up seven goals and 15 assists for Frankfurt this season and could provide a real attacking thrust for Tottenham.

The Bundesliga’s official website even compare Kostic to Tottenham legend Gareth Bale.

That may be a little excessive, but Tottenham will hope to see a major impact should they manage to lure Kostic to North London.
