Tottenham Hotspur face a huge rebuilding job this summer, and appear to be targeting Max Aarons before even getting a manager in.

Spurs are yet to find a new manager despite parting ways with Jose Mourinho in April, but Fabio Paratici is in and will be looking to make signings.

A right back is absolutely vital, with Serge Aurier expected to go – and Norwich City man Aarons is thought to be a target.

Tottenham linked with Aarons yet again

Aarons has been linked with Tottenham in pretty much every transfer window for years now, and it’s no surprise to see the rumours return.

Sky Sports claim that Tottenham are back in for Aarons, viewing him as a cheaper option than Brighton and Hove Albion’s Tariq Lamptey.

Aarons would cost £20million less than Lamptey at £30million, and Tottenham allegedly want to bring him in as competition for Matt Doherty.

Tottenham fans have their say

Tottenham fans have been taking to Twitter to react, with some begging Spurs to finally get Aarons in.

Others believe that Aarons would be a ‘top signing’, even claiming that this rumour is giving them just a little bit of hope.

Some can’t really see a deal happening, but are hopeful that Aarons will arrive in North London.
