Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is ‘not thrilled’ by the idea of signing for Everton before Monday’s transfer deadline.
That’s according to a report from Foot Mercato, who claim that Ndombele only wants to sign for Paris Saint-Germain this month.
Everton have shown an interest, as have the likes of Valencia, Napoli, Roma and Atletico Madrid.
As things stand though, Ndombele wants to join PSG and you can hardly blame him.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men will not only be looking to win the Ligue 1 title but also have dreams of Champions League success.
Add in that Ndombele was born in the south of Paris and a return to the French capital will surely appeal.
Kaveh Solekhol broke the news of Everton’s interest on Sky Sports earlier this week, claiming that the Toffees had shown a desire to bring Ndombele to Goodison Park.
That interest seemed to come from nowhere, and it appears that Ndombele has little interest in making the move to Merseyside.
As talented as Ndombele can be on the ball, his work off the ball has left a lot to be desired throughout his time at Tottenham.
Jose Mourinho felt Ndombele was ‘magnificent’ in 2021, but Antonio Conte hasn’t been convinced at all since taking the Tottenham job.

You have to wonder just who is making this decision for Everton too.
Everton don’t have a manager in place since sacking Rafael Benitez earlier this month and the Toffees are unlikely to sign players for interim boss Duncan Ferguson.
You can even ask whether Ndombele is a player Ferguson would warm to as well.
Higher up, Everton saw director of football Marcel Brands leave earlier this season and haven’t replaced him.
So just who is pushing for Ndombele to join Everton? It seems like a move of desperation ahead of the transfer deadline, simply from knowing that Ndombele is available.
