Journalist Alasdair Gold has reported that Tottenham director Fabio Paratici is a fan of Tete.
90 Min recently claimed that the Shakhtar Donetsk winger, who is currently on loan at Lyon has been offered to Spurs on a temporary basis.
However, it was also mentioned that alongside Tottenham, the other clubs who were given a chance of signing Tete included Arsenal and West Ham United.
The Brazilian winger has largely had a promising season in Ligue 1.
In 14 league games for the French side, Tete has 6 goals and 4 assists to his name.
However, the Paratici-favourite seems to have fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Laurent Blanc.
The 22-year-old has been benched in 4 out of the last 6 Ligue 1 games since Blanc’s appointment.
With Antonio Conte’s men needing reinforcements in attack and badly, it only makes sense why they are eyeing a move for a brand-new forward.
Tottenham director Fabio Paratici likes Tete

Football.London journalist has mentioned in a new report that Fabio Paratici is an “admirer” of Tottenham-linked winger Tete, whose contact expires in the summer.
With one out of two of Spurs’ biggest priorities in January being adding an attacking player to their ranks, it seems as if Paratici is tempted by a swoop for the Shakhtar Donetsk loanee.
Tete could be brought in as a Dejan Kulusevski backup
As was evident in Tottenham’s displays during Dejan Kulusevski’s injury, it’s clear to see how essential he has become to the side.
The Swede is arguably Spurs’ most bankable creator, as displayed by his assist for Pierre Emile-Hojberg against Brentford on Boxing Day.
Keeping that in mind, Tete, who has played as a right-winger throughout the season could provide much-needed cover for the Tottenham fan favourite.
Fabio Paratici may be onto something astute if he masterminds a deal for Tete.
