Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and David Moyes’s West Ham United all have been offered the chance to sign Tete on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk with a view to a permanent contract, according to 90min.
Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle and West Ham offered Shakhtar Donetsk’s Tete
The report has claimed that West Ham, Tottenham, Newcastle and Arsenal all have been offered the chance to sign Tete, now on loan at French club Lyon.
The 22-year-old, who tends to play as a right-winger but can also operate as auxiliary striker or as an attacking midfielder, has been on loan at Lyon since March 2022 due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, with FIFA suspending the contracts of all foreign players in the country.
90min have reported that new Lyon manager Laurent Blanc does not fancy Tete as a regular in his team, andthat the 22-year-old Brazilian could now leave the Ligue 1 club.

Stats
Tete is only 22 and is still growing as a footballer, and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United or West Ham United decide to sign him on loan in the January transfer window.
The Brazil Under-23 international scored 31 goals in 108 appearances for Shakhtar prior to his departure.
The youngster has scored five goals in 13 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
A loan deal with no obligation to make it permanent may not be a bad deal for Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham or Newcastle.
