Tottenham face strong competition this summer for the signing of Angers star Mohamed-Ali Cho, with Marseille now keen on the teenage attacker.

According to Le10Sport, the Ligue 1 giants are plotting a move to sign the 18-year-old, who could now be available for as little as €10m (£8.4m) with Angers in desperate need of raising some funds in the transfer window.

Cho is regarded by many as one of the top prospects in France, with Cho being compared to Kylian Mbappe and drawing interest from some other big clubs beyond Marseille and Tottenham.

Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have also been credited with an interest in Cho, as have Leicester City, with the race for the teenage attacker set to explode this summer with Angers now dramatically lowering the asking price.

With just two goals in 25 appearances this season, Cho’s output has hardly been impressive, yet for a teenager playing his first year in the French top-flight, the youngster is showing a lot of promise that could spark a transfer battle between the likes of Marseille and Tottenham.

Indeed, the north London club are set for a huge summer under Antonio Conte, who has now put Tottenham in the driving seat for a top-four finish, yet fighting Marseille for Cho could be a tough one for Spurs.

On paper, it makes sense why Tottenham would consider themselves favourites to land Cho, however, with Marseille’s success this season being built on the back of youth, the French teenager could consider a move to the Ligue 1 giants instead.

After all, William Saliba and Matteo Guendouzi have been sensational for Marseille this season, and Cho could be the next young star to break out at the French club if they can beat Tottenham to the attacker’s signature this summer.
