Tottenham want Owen Wijndal
Foot Mercato report that Tottenham fancy Dutch talent Wijndal and have opened talks with AZ Alkmaar over a deal.
It’s stated that Lyon, Napoli and Juventus are all interested in signing Wijndal this summer.
Yet the first move has come from Tottenham, who are now in contact with AZ about a potential transfer.
It’s unclear just how much Wijndal would cost but the Dutch international is being backed for a big future.
Wijndal, 22, enjoyed a stunning season for AZ, racking up 12 assists in 43 games to prove what a great attacking threat he offers down the left flank.

Wijndal already has 11 caps for the Netherlands and there are surely more to come.
Incoming Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is a huge fan of Wijndal, even publicly admitting that he wanted to sign him for Ajax before taking the Old Trafford job.
After those quotes, published by Fabrizio Romano, the Italian journalist added that Wijndal had switched his agency to join the Stellar agency.
That’s the same agency utilised by Tottenham hero Gareth Bale as well as the likes of Ben Davies and Joe Rodon.
If true, that could help Tottenham in the race for Wijndal, who would give Antonio Conte more depth on the left side.
