Noel Gallagher has told Tottenham Hotspur-linked manager Vincent Kompany to snub the Spurs job and instead, wait to join Manchester City instead.
It was claimed on Friday that Kompany was keen on running things at N17, bidding adieu to all the great work he has done at Burnley.

But it seems like Noel Gallagher would be against Vincent Kompany taking the Tottenham Hotspur manager job at all costs.
Noel Gallagher tells Vincent Kompany to avoid becoming Tottenham manager
The Belgian boss, labelled as ‘immaculate’ by Don Hutchinson has worked wonders at Turf Moor.
Gone are the days when Burnley used to be the archetypal British side typified by physicality and hard graft, as they are cruising in the Championship whilst playing an attractive, possession-based style of football.
As Vincent Kompany continues to get linked as the next Tottenham manager, Noel Gallagher has told him to bide his time and wait for Pep Guardiola’s spell at Manchester City to end instead.
“He should see Burnley through to the top this season and into the Premier League then see what happens. Who would go anywhere near Tottenham? No one would. Tottenham are just a farce, you know what I mean?
“Would he one day come back to City? Yeah. I mean, he’s an absolute uber-legend at our club and we adore him and always will do. I’m sure he’d be welcome, should he do the business with Burnley, but it’s a long way off because I don’t think Pep [Guardiola] is going anywhere anytime soon”, he said on talkSPORT.
While Noel Gallagher was perhaps harsh when it came to the way he worded his criticism towards Tottenham, it is hard to disagree with him as Vincent Kompany would be entering a mess if he becomes their manager.
Instead, Kompany should work his way up at well-run clubs before accepting a ‘Big Six’ job in the Premier League that have a defined project in place.
