Tottenham Hotspur right-back Matt Doherty has raved about reported Liverpool target and Germany international World Cup midfielder Jamal Musiala on the club’s official website.
Doherty has been hugely impressed by Bayern Munich midfielder Musiala, who has been linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The Tottenham defender believes that the 19-year-old former Chelsea prospect is a top talent.
Doherty made the comments about Musiala while naming him as his player to watch at the 2022 Qatar World Cup on Sunday.
Germany will lock horns with Spain in Group E today.
Musiala is expected to start for the German team.
The teenager joined Bayern in 2019 after leaving London club Chelsea and has been linked with a switch to Premier League giants Liverpool.
Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg reported in October 2022 that that Liverpool are interested in signing Musiala as a back-up if they are unable to bring in Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023.

The £91,000-a-week (SalarySport) Germany international has made 12 starts and two substitute appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season.
Musiala has scored nine goals and given six assists in those matches.
The teenager has also given two assists in five UEFA Champions League games for the Bavarian giants so far this campaign.
