Micah Richards has raved about reported Arsenal target and Barcelona goalkeeper Neto on Match of the Day: Top 10 podcast.
Richards played with Neto at Fiorentina, and the former Manchester City right-back rates the Brazil international goalkeeper highly.
Arsenal interest in Barcelona goalkeeper Neto
The Daily Mail reported in September 2021 that Arsenal are looking into signing Neto in the January transfer window.
The 32-year-old Brazil international would be a potential replacement for Bernd Leno.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.

Micah Richards’s verdict
Richards said on Match of the Day: Top 10 podcast: “Neto as well who is at Barcelona. I was with him at Fiorentina. He is amazing with his feet. He was top-notch.”
Would Neto make Arsenal better?
Aaron Ramsdale joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in the summer of 2021.
The England international has established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper.
Leno is now a back-up.

So, in our opinion, the Germany international goalkeeper could want to leave and play regularly at another club.
Neto is 32 now and is essentially a squad player at Barcelona.
That Barcelona signed the Brazilian shows his quality, especially with his feet.
We know how Barcelona play their football.
Leno is not exactly great with his feet, and a player like Neto who can play out from the back would be a suitable back-up to Ramsdale.
The question is whether Neto would want to move to Arsenal and sit on the bench.
