Rio Ferdinand has praised Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on his Youtube channel ahead of the Premier League game against Manchester United.
The former United defender has been impressed by how Ramsdale has been playing for Arsenal this season.
Ferdinand has pointed at the number of clean sheets the 23-year-old England international goalkeeper is keeping for Arsenal.
Arsenal will take on United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
Ferdinand said on his Youtube channel: “Ramsdale has been an inspired signing. There were a lot of people doubting him, he has had two or three relegations in his career already, in his young career, but the saves that he is making on a regular basis, he is actually enabling you lot (Arsenal fans) to keep clean sheets. Six clean sheets in 10 games is phenomenal.”

Aaron Ramsdale will be key against Manchester United
United do have a very strong attacking lineup.
Jadon Sancho is getting into form, and we all know just good a player Cristiano Ronaldo is.
So, in our opinion, the Arsenal defensive unit will come under pressure at Old Trafford on Thursday evening.

And Ramsdale will have to be in top form.
Just as he has been this season.
The 23-year-old has made some wonderful saves for Mikel Arteta’s side and commands his area well.
Ramsdale is showing maturity beyond his years, and he will need that against Ralf Rangnick’s United.
We expect Ramsdale to be busy, but, in our view, he will rise to the occasion
