Tony Cascarino believes that Leeds United will have to rely on their forgotten forward this summer after some key sales.
Leeds United were 90 minutes away from a return to the Premier League but The Whites suffered a 1-0 defeat to Southampton at Wembley Stadium which meant that the Yorkshire club will remain in the EFL Championship.
The Yorkshire club sold Archie Gray to Tottenham Hotspur and Georginio Rutter has also departed to Brighton & Hove Albion this summer and it looks to be disastrous for Leeds.
HITC understands that Leeds have struck an agreement for the signing of Largie Ramazani from UD Almeria with the Belgian winger set to cost around £10 million.

Tony Cascarino believes Leeds will have to rely on Patrick Bamford
With several key players departing Elland Road this summer, perhaps it is time to try and rely on Patrick Bamford, who has had several injury problems during his time in Yorkshire.
Last season for Leeds, Bamford made 36 appearances for the Yorkshire club in the EFL Championship with nine goals and two assists for The Whites.
Speaking on talkSPORT (8:51am), Tony Cascarino believes that, with the sales going on at Leeds, that the club may have to rely on the English forward.
“They’ve lost some good players this summer, it feels like they’ve taken a step backwards,” Cascarino told talkSPORT. “After losing Rutter to Brighton, how reliant can they be on Bamford.
“What will he be after his injuries, because for a period he was the man getting their goals and the club may have to rely on him again this season.”
Bamford has chance to show his quality for Leeds
During his time in Yorkshire, there is no doubt that Bamford offers the club an immense amount of quality but his injury record has been a poor one.
Over the past two seasons, Bamford’s injury record has improved so he could be reliable enough for the club as they hope to battle back to the Premier League after failing at their first attempt last season.
The 30-year-old has scored 60 goals in his 190 appearances for the club and Troy Deeney recently labelled Bamford as a leader, it is time for the Englishman to show his quality for the Yorkshire club.
