Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Christian Pulisic has conceded that reported Newcastle United target Timo Werner is actually quicker than him.
Pulisic is one of the fastest players in the Premier League. Just watch any Chelsea game and you’ll see how rapid he is, but, even the American admits that he’s not the quickest player at Stamford Bridge.
Indeed, Pulisic says that Werner is ever so slightly faster than him.
What’s Pulisic said about Werner?
Pulisic was asked who would win a race between him and Werner.
“I never like to doubt myself, but, I think it would be close and to be honest, Timo is fast,” Pulisic said
The host then informed Pulisic that Werner is in fact ranked as being quicker than him on the latest edition of EA Sports’ FIFA series.
“I would say that is pretty accurate,” Pulisic stated, conceding that Werner is in fact slightly quicker.

Exciting
You have to be excited reading this if you’re a Newcastle fan keeping up with all of the transfer speculation.
Of course, Werner may not end up at St James’ Park, but just imagine the amount of sheer pace the Magpies’ front-line would possess if the German did head to Tyneside.
Allan Saint-Maximin is already one of the fastest players in the Premier League, and when you add Werner to that equation you have a very scary duo.
It remains to be seen whether or not the striker heads to the north east, but if he does, United will have a ridiculously exciting attack.
