Tottenham could look to add some much-needed options to Ange Postecoglou’s squad on January transfer deadline day.
Spurs have impressed under their new manager so far this season, playing entertaining football while finding results along the way. However, a key problem for the Lilywhites has often been in their squad depth.
Key injuries, suspensions and international absences have meant that Postecoglou has rarely had a full squad at his disposal. The transfer window has come at a good time for Tottenham though, having added Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig as well as the permanent signing of defender Radu Dragusin from Genoa.
The north London outfit may not be done there though, with deadline day offering a chance to add a final player or moving one on. With that said, here’s a look at a few potential options for Spurs in the transfer market.

Antonio Nusa transfer
Antonio Nusa has been subject to plenty of interest over the January transfer window, showing plenty of promise for Club Brugge. Tottenham have been one of those linked with a move for the winger this month.
Spurs looked set to miss out on Nusa, with Brentford seemingly agreeing a deal, until an issue in his medical appeared. HITC Football understands that talks are still ongoing with the Bees and Club Brugge, but it could open the door to a late move from the Lilywhites.

Conor Gallagher transfer
Tottenham continue to be linked with a transfer for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, after missing out on him in the summer. The England international is reaching the final 18-months of his contract, which may lead to a deal.
The Guardian has reported that Spurs are considering a late move for the midfielder, which could make for an interesting deadline day.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg transfer
A player with an uncertain future at Tottenham is Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The midfielder has struggled to break into the team under Postecoglou and is nearing the end of his contract with Spurs.
The Danish international had been linked with a move to Lyon, which has seemingly broken down, so it remains to be seen if a late bid will be made.
