Burnley boss Sean Dyche has emerged as a contender to replace Sam Allardyce at Crystal Palace, the Mirror reports.
Although far from a done deal, we’ve identified three of the 45-year-old’s past and present players he could look to bring with him to Selhurst Park, if he gets the nod.
Tom Heaton [Burnley]
Palace have Wayne Hennessey and Julian Speroni out of contract, while Steve Mandanda also looks to be on his way out of the club this summer. A new goalkeeper could therefore be a priority for whoever takes charge. Heaton has impressed for Burnley this past season, earning him several England squad calls, and a move could appeal to him if Dyche goes first.

Ben Mee [Burnley]
With Liverpool demanding £30 million for loan star Mamadou Sakho, Palace may have to look elsewhere for a centre-back this summer – and left-footed Mee could slip seamlessly into Sakho’s shoes. Michael Keane may have earned most of the plaudits since Burnley’s return to the Premier League, but it’s his 27-year-old partner-in-crime who ranks as the Clarets’ best-performing player, according to WhoScored.com.

Danny Ings [Liverpool]
The likely departures of Fraizer Campbell and Loic Remy could leave Palace in need of attacking reinforcements, and a player like Ings could be the perfect foil for Christian Benteke – his former Liverpool teammate – in Dyche’s 4-4-2 system. Ings could find his opportunities limited next season if the Reds are to strengthen as expected.
