As we enter deadline day, Tottenham fans are waiting with bated breath to see if the club will make any last-minute moves to bolster their struggling squad.

Currently sitting fifth in the league, Spurs are in need of some reinforcements to get their season back on track after a poor recent run of form.

Tottenham have been linked with a number of players in the past few weeks, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Spurs’ starting XI at the end of deadline day.

We think that Tottenham could make as many as three new signings.

Spanish right-back Pedro Porro has been a hot topic, with reports indicating that the club has been trying to sign the player all month long. While the deal was reported to have collapsed on Monday, talks are still ongoing and it could be that Porro still joins the club before the window closes.

Another player that has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham is Italian midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo. The young player has been pushing for a move away from Roma as he’s not been training with the team recently. Zaniolo has been linked with a move to Spurs for the past two weeks and could provide the club with the creative spark they need to jump-start their season.

Piero Hincapie is also a target for Spurs, and he could sign on deadline day. However, he doesn’t feature in this XI as it’s been reported he could be immediately loaned back to Bayer Leverkusen.

Arnaut Danjuma also doesn’t feature as we don’t expect him to start over Heung-Min Son.

If these deals do go through, it’s exciting to think about how Tottenham’s starting XI could look. With Porro in the back line and Zaniolo in midfield, they would have two fresh faces to breathe a new life into this squad.

With a talented manager in Conte and a number of exciting players linked with a move to the club, there is no doubt that Tottenham are a team to watch in the coming months as they could improve substantially if they get the right players through the door before the deadline.
