Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter as training ground footage has emerged of Konstantinos Mavropanos’s goal for Stuttgart.
The hard-hitting centre-back posted a clip on Twitter of his quite stunning goal in training – and Arsenal fans have been left amazed.
Mavropanos could be seen dancing his way past several players like he is Zinedine Zidane in disguise before firing the ball with his left foot into the back of the net.
It was a moment of magic from Mavropanos, who is one of several players sent out on loan by Mikel Arteta and Edu this summer.
Given that Arsenal are yet to score a goal in the Premier League this season, even some fans joked that Mavropanos’ strike will be used in their Goal of the Month competition.
Either way, it was some nifty footwork from the 23-year-old, who will feel that he actually hasn’t been handed the deserved chances in North London.
But then again, he won’t be the only centre-back who probably feels that way.
Arsenal fans only have to look towards a certain William Saliba, who is also out on loan and could probably argue that he gets into this current side.
Either way, these players might not be getting their chances at the Emirates, but they are certainly still working their magic elsewhere.
More than likely, they might not get another hit at proving their worth in Arsenal colours and will probably be sold permanently at some stage.
But if things continue to go wrong for Arteta then, by the time they return from their loan spell, he might not be in charge.
There are suggestions that Arteta doesn’t have much time to save his job, which in truth, is no surprise given they have lost their opening two Premier League games.
All of that is, of course, piled on top of what happened last season and the club missing out on Europe altogether.
