Ally McCoist says he expects Harry Kane to join Antonio Conte in leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the summer following their 1-0 defeat to Wolves on Saturday, as he told talkSPORT Breakfast (06/03/23 at 6:40 am).
The former Scotland striker added that his comments ‘will really finish Spurs fans off’ because he also thinks Kane will end up at Manchester United, despite their 7-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
Erik ten Hag will be looking for a centre-forward in the summer and Kane’s name has been thrown about as possibly coming in to help them push for the Premier League title next season.

In truth, that Manchester United humiliation on Merseyside yesterday is probably bad news for Tottenham because it might just force or push those at Old Trafford to go all in for their targets when the transfer window re-opens.
But, despite that loss for Man United, they still managed to secure a trophy and with the League Cup last week against Newcastle United at Wembley.
That has been a keyword when it comes to Kane ‘trophies’ and how he needs to head for the Hotspur Way exit door if he wants to achieve that.
“Right now, and it’s guesswork for me, I think (in the summer) they will be looking for a new manager and a new centre-forward,” said McCoist.
“If I am putting myself in Harry Kane’s shoes, right now, and this will really finish the Spurs fans off this morning, then I am probably going to the team that got beat seven nothing yesterday. There’s a statement for you. Have a think about that.
“I am serious. How is Harry Kane feeling this morning? He’s waking up and thinking ‘I am going to leave and go to a team that has got beat 7-0 by Liverpool’. But he’s got to think about himself now, Harry.
“I am not even a Spurs fan and they frustrate me – they couldn’t let his contract run down.”

KANE HAS BEEN LET DOWN
If Kane does leave Spurs, then the fans will probably open the door for him because of how he has been dealt with by the powers that be at the club.
The lack of ambition at the top has to be questioned, especially given the performances he has produced on a consistent basis and the number of goals he has scored.
It’s not been matched, and now at the age of 29, he is probably heading for the exit door and for a low fee because his contract will have 12 months left to run in the summer.
