Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter after seeing Roberto Firmino’s Instagram activity, and they’re not too happy.
The Brazil international was seen to have liked a post from Vinícius Júnior, who ruined Liverpool’s evening with two goals in Real Madrid’s 3-1 win.
It might not seem like much, but it was enough to upset a handful of Liverpool fans on Twitter.
It’s not the first time Firmino has been caught liking a post from the opposition after they’ve handed defeat to Liverpool.
The £29 million man was seen to have liked Richarlison’s Instagram post after he scored in Everton’s 2-0 win at Anfield back in February.
Of course, both Richarlison and Vinícius Júnior are Brazilian like Firmino, so he was probably just showing his fellow South Americans a bit of love.

Regardless, it doesn’t tend to go down well among the Liverpool fanbase when they see one of their own liking a post which revels in their defeat.
One fan said it was ‘unacceptable’ of Firmino to like the post, while another said it was ‘poor’ from the Liverpool No.9.

In the modern era, it’s probably not the wisest thing to do, especially while the defeat is still fresh in the memory of fans.
Let’s see what some more Liverpool supporters have been saying about it…
