Thierry Henry has seemingly reignited supporter interest in a potential Arsenal takeover following recent events.
The Gunners legend was spotted at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday with Swedish billionaire Daniel Ek. The Spotify owner is eager to buy Arsenal, with the entrepreneur making a takeover offer earlier in the year.
Henry then added more fuel to the fire when the former France international appeared on Monday Night Football. The Arsenal icon was asked about attending the game with Ek, and the pundit gave an interesting answer.
The north London legend said about Ek: “He is here to stay, so let’s see what’s going to happen. I think it’s going to be long. How long it is going to be? I don’t actually know, but we are here to say.”
Indeed, it is an encouraging update for Arsenal supporters. Although Stan Kroenke financially backed the club this summer, fans are still eager for the American businessman to sell.
The club’s owners were key behind Arsenal signing up for the European Super League earlier in the year. And the scars from that event are yet to heal for some fans.

Supporters are desperate for Ek, who is an Arsenal fans, to takeover the club. And supporters on social media believe that efforts could restart soon with Henry being seen in public with the Swedish billionaire.
