Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that Granit Xhaka is now a target for Juventus.
The Swiss midfielder has been linked with a move to Roma for quite some time now, but it seems as though Jose Mourinho’s side aren’t the only Serie A outfit in the race for his signature.
Indeed, Juventus reportedly want the Swiss star, and Arsenal supporters are glad to hear that there are multiple clubs in for their player.
Gunners fans are hoping that this news will start something of a bidding war for Xhaka, and if that happens, the club’s transfer coffers could be boosted substantially, allowing them to spend more freely on any potential replacement.
Whether Xhaka leaves and how much he goes for remains to be seen, but Gunners fans are certainly hoping that his asking price is pushed up by Juventus’ pursuit of the midfielder.
