Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Emiliano Martinez once again commented on his time in north London.
Last month, Arsenal fans expressed their frustration with the £17 million man again after he spoke to Sky Sports about his exit from the Emirates Stadium.
Now, he has been chatting to ESPN about what is effectively the same topic, for what feels like the 50th time since his move to Aston Villa.
Speaking to ESPN (via Explica), the Argentina said: “There were many years of suffering [at Arsenal] and having a bad time for not getting my chance. Not because I didn’t deserve it, but because they didn’t give it to me.”
Now, we don’t agree with Martinez here.
He did get chances at Arsenal. Not many, but some. When you’re a goalkeeper, you might only get one chance to prove yourself before the preferred No.1 comes back into the fold, and unfortunately for Martinez, he didn’t impress until his final few games for the Gunners.

There was a horror show away to Reading, in which he conceded five goals in a 7-5 win for the north Londoners.
Arsene Wenger also handed him an opportunity against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in 2017.
Martinez conceded a penalty, and shipped three goals in a 3-0 defeat.
Arsenal are happy with Bernd Leno, and Villa now have a much-improved Martinez who has kept an impressive 14 Premier League clean sheets this season.

Only Manchester City and Chelsea have kept more.
In that respect, everyone is a winner, so Martinez really doesn’t have to keep explaining why things didn’t work out at Arsenal.
Let’s see what the frustrated Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about his comments…
