Aaron Ramsdale continues to defy expectations at Arsenal, and the England international has now been named the club’s Player of the Month for October.
The Gunners posted the update on their official website. With Ramsdale winning 60% of the vote to become Arsenal’s Player of the Month, beating out the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Magalhaes.
The 23-year-old keeper, who earns a reported £63,000-a-week, has become Arsenal’s undisputed number one keeper following his arrival from Sheffield United in the summer.
Despite concerns, Ramsdale has blown any doubt out of the water with the Arsenal star becoming a key name at the back for the Gunners, and the shot-stopper’s form has been rewarded with a Player of the Month award.
The youngster kept two clean sheets in October as Arsenal continued their unbeaten run across all competitions. With Mikel Arteta’s fifth in the Premier League heading into the international break.
Moreover, Ramsdale’s form saw the keeper recalled to the England squad. With the shot-stopper likely to make his debut with the Three Lions facing off against Albania and San Marino.
