Manchester City fans have reacted on Twitter to the rumours that Raheem Sterling wouldn’t be interested in a move to Tottenham.

The Premier League champions have seemingly made their move in trying to lure Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, towards their direction.

According to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, £100 million + some Man City players, including Sterling could be put on the table to persuade Daniel Levy to say yes.

But even if Levy agreed, it seems as though Sterling doesn’t want to swap Manchester for North London.

Either way, the Man City fans are keen for the English speedster to leave, but understand why he wouldn’t want to join Spurs.

A few years ago, they were competing in the Champions League final, yet fast forward to today and they aren’t even in the competition itself.

It has been some decline from the club and Levy has had to play a huge part in that because his decision making has cost the club quite a lot.

From not properly backing Mauricio Pochettino to sacking him once he had his first proper stumble.

Then appointing Jose Mourinho, with the trophy-laden coach getting Spurs to a League Cup final, only for Levy to pull the trigger days before.

Yet, here Spurs stand today, two months after Mourinho’s sacking, with no manager and the club in decline.

Added with that, they have no Champions League football, their star man seemingly wants to leave, they have an ageing squad and no name to their big-money stadium.

Plus, they shouldn’t forget that they shot themselves in the foot in trying to join the European Super League.

It’s, therefore, understandable why certain players would perhaps be reluctant to join them.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Man City fans reacting to those Sterling rumours:
