Jamie Carragher has predicted on Sky Sports Premier League (9:57pm, May 17, 2022) that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will beat Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to the Premier League top four this season.
Carragher made the prediction about Tottenham and Arsenal following the Gunners’ defeat to Newcastle United away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Arsenal are now fifth in the Premier League table with 66 points from 37 matches, two points behind North London rivals and fourth-placed Tottenham.
Spurs effectively need a draw from their final Premier League game of the season against Norwich City away from home at Carrow Road.
Norwich have already been relegated.
Arsenal will face Everton at the Emirates Stadium in the league this coming weekend.
Everton are fighting for survival in the league.
