Liverpool-mad pundit Jose Enrique has stated on Instagram that Arsenal’s deadline-day capture of Jorginho from Chelsea is a ‘great signing’ and he now thinks they will win the Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal wasted no time in securing a £12 million deal (BBC Sport) for the 31-year-old, after their failure to persuade Brighton to sell Moises Caicedo.
Not many expected such a deal, but this is the bonkers nature of transfer deadline day and the window itself.

Jorginho has gone from a team whose owner, Todd Boehly, is playing Football Manager to a team sitting tenth in the Premier League table.
To a team sitting top of the tree, 21 points clear of Chelsea, but most importantly, five clear of second-placed Manchester City, who have played a game extra.
Arsenal fans will be hoping Jorginho can provide that extra push in their title push, and reacting to Fabrizio Romano’s IG post about the Jorginho signing, former Liverpool left-back Enrique wrote the following message in the comments section.
“Great signing,” says Enrique. “Went for Caicedo and couldn’t do it. Then, moved quickly and did this one instead.
“They really want to go and win the Premier League title and I believe they will.”

JORGINHO EXPERIENCE
That’s going to be the most important thing here, both on and off the pitch from the Italy international.
Not only does he suit Arsenal’s style to a tee when they are on the ball, but he has also had those big trophy-winning moments during his career.
But the dust of the hectic and money-crazy transfer window is now settled and it’s interesting to see how it’s all going to pan out for the likes of Arsenal.
