Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea will definitely make an offer for Brighton and Hove Albion star Moises Caicedo, according to a report.
Fabrizio Romano has told GiveMeSport that Chelsea will bid for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist, though, has added that it is going to be tough for Chelsea to get a deal done with Brighton over the 21-year-old Ecuador international midfielder.
Romano said: “It’s now about reaching an agreement with Brighton. We know how tough it is to negotiate with Brighton, especially when you want to get their best player, so the conversation is not going to be easy.
“But Chelsea will be there. Chelsea will bid because they want Moises Caicedo, so I’m sure that this is going to be a hot topic in the next days.”
Chelsea need to hurry over Moises Caicedo
In our opinion, Chelsea need to start working on a deal to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Now.
The Times have reported that Manchester United are now planning to focus on Caicedo.

The Red Devils are struggling to reach an agreement with Chelsea over England international midfielder Mason Mount, so they are now looking at alternative options.
And Caicedo is now on their radar.
This is worrying for Chelsea.
If United are now getting serious about the midfielder, then it means stiff competition for the Blues.
Yes, there has been speculation that Caicedo is willing to move to Chelsea for £200,000-a-week salary, but United could easily match that salary.
Caicedo made 34 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Brighton last season.
The Brighton no. 25 scored one goal and gave one assist in those games.
Manchester United legend Roy Keane has described Caicedo as “strong and powerful”, while former Liverpool star John Barnes believes that the midfielder is a “fantastic” player.
