Fabrizio Romano has reported that there is a very good chance that Arsenal defensive midfielder Thomas Partey will leave.
The Italian journalist has claimed on Twitter that clubs are interested in signing Thomas Partey from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are not in talks with the defensive midfielder over extending his current contract.
Romano has added that there are discussions over a potential exit for Partey, who earns £200,000 per week as salary (Spotrac).
Should Arsenal sell Thomas Partey?
In our view, Arsenal should not rush into making a decision over the future of Thomas Partey.
Yes, we know that the Gunners are really determined to sign Declan Rice from West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

And the North London club are also in talks over signing Romeo Lavia from Southampton.
However, Granit Xhaka will reportedly leave the Gunners.
And if Partey leaves Arsenal as well, then it could leave the team lacking very experienced players in the middle of the park for next season.
We believe that Arsenal should sell Partey only after they have signed Rice and/or Lavia, and maybe not offload him at all.
You never know.
Manchester City could make a move for Rice and get him ahead of Arsenal.
The Gunners simply cannot be in a position where they lose Partey and are unable to bring in another midfielder.
