Alan Shearer has hailed Arsenal transfer target Wilfried Zaha and how opposition managers and teams will always talk about him.
The Premier League legend added that Zaha is Crystal Palace’s ‘best player’ and he should take it as a compliment that the opposition always want to ‘kick him all the time’, as he told Amazon Prime Sport.
On Tuesday night, Zaha showcased what he is all about when he scored the winning goal during Palace’s comeback 2-1 win over Wolves in the Premier League.

It was the 29-year-old’s fifth goal in Palace’s colours this season, and after hitting 14 during the previous campaign, he will want to demolish those numbers this term.
Given that Zaha is now playing under a more forward-thinking and attacking manager in Patrick Vieira, his numbers and game is going up a few levels.
Shearer spoke highly about the all-action winger and how the talent has always been in his locker.
“There is no doubt that the talent has always been there with, Wilf,” said Shearer. “He has a manager that is getting the best out of him and making him feel special. These fans love him for what he has done at this football club. I have noticed, since last season, that his positional sense is better now.
“He is, without doubt, their best player. He’s their man. When the opposition is in the dressing room. The managers and the coaches are talking about him.
“What they are saying is that ‘if you stop him, then you have a really good chance of stopping Crystal Palace’, so for me, I take it as a compliment that people want to kick him all the time.”

ARSENAL TARGET ZAHA
This seems like a long time in the making because for many years Arsenal have been linked with Zaha and vice-versa.
Even though Mikel Arteta has regular starters such as Gabriel Martinelli working wonders out on that left flank, Zaha is still seemingly on their radar.
What’s even more interesting is that his contract at Selhurst Park is due to expire in less than 12 months.
And if Arsenal want to bulk up their squad, then a free transfer of Zaha would be some serious business.
