Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale in The London Evening Standard.
Arteta has praised the way Bale has come back to form in recent weeks, and the Arsenal boss has also hailed Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho for his contribution.
The Spaniard made the comments ahead of the North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Arteta told The London Evening Standard about Bale: “To extend that level over such a period of time is incredibly difficult. I think for creative players it is even more difficult because obviously the demands that they have is to win football matches all by themselves.
“For an individual to do that with the level of organisation, detail and preparation these days it becomes extremely difficult. I think the way he has come back is also merit to the player because he has shown he wants to do it again.
“But also the club, the manager and the coaching staff, they probably find a way to get the best out of him when people thought that probably wasn’t the case – and I think that is what good managers and players do.”

Big threat for Arsenal
Bale scored twice for Tottenham against Crystal Palace in the Premier League last weekend and almost found the back of the net with a free kick in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The 31-year-old winger is starting to play well and get some old form back, and he will be a massive threat to the Arsenal defence.
The Gunners made a poor mistake against Burnley at the back and repeated the same error in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
If Arsenal are to win the Premier League game on Sunday, then they simply cannot afford to make such mistakes.
According to WhoScored, Bale has scored five goals and provided two assists in five Premier League starts, and has scored three goals and provided one assist in seven Europa League starts for Spurs so far this season.
