UFC Freedom 250 is set to take place at The White House later this month, but a number of notable celebrities are not expected to attend.

The Rock now has closer ties to the MMA world after WWE was bought out by TKO, who also own the UFC.

However, the long-time wrestler is believed to have turned down the chance to attend the upcoming event at the White House despite an invitation from Dana White.

The Rock is not expected to appear at UFC 250

Vanity Fair say that the UFC promoter invited all of Adam Sandler, Guy Ritchie, Tom Brady, Jared Leto, Jason Statham, The Rock, and Mario Lopez to attend the showcase on June 14.

However, at least four of those names are set to snub UFC 250, with one source said to have told Vanity Fair that Dwayne Johnson will not be in attendance.

Meanwhile, Sandler, Leto, and Lopez are expected to join the WWE superstar in declining to make an appearance at The White House.

However, while The Rock is not going to appear at UFC 250, some other wrestlers are scheduled to make appearances.

During the May 18 episode of Monday Night Raw, Michael Cole announced on live TV that the following names would be part of the Freedom 250 Fan Fest:

Charlotte Flair, The Miz, Trick Williams, Chelsea Green, The Usos, Tiffany Stratton, Bron Breakker.

But this apparently came as quite the surprise to at least one WWE wrestler, as Flair has previously spoken about the fact she did not know she would be appearing until the announcement was made.

Speaking to TMZ Sports last month, she said: “I saw the announcement online. I knew I had a signing.

“Then I saw online, and I was like, ‘Oh, I guess I’m in a UFC fight. Great.’

“I had my spray-painted, bedazzled outfit that I was going to wear because it was just a signing. Then it said ‘White House signing’ and I’m like, ‘So, are we going to the White House?’”
