Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey might have locked horns inside a WWE ring but MMA superstar has laughed off suggestions that Lynch could make it in the Octagon.
Lynch and Rousey made history when they headlined WrestleMania together and while Rousey is long gone from WWE for now, her legacy is there despite her short run.
As for Lynch, she is firmly entrenched as one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time.
Of course, the two locked horns a few times in WWE and speaking on the latest Stephanie McMahon Podcast, Lynch suggested there was a time she fancied the Octagon.
“Wrestling her, there was one time when she beat me up and I remember thinking, not because I could fight back, but I was like, ‘Ah, I can take a beating. Maybe I could go into MMA. I think I can take it,” Lynch commented.
“But then…that lasted one week. Actually one week is generous.”
Rousey, though, seems to be having none of it.

WWE has seen some crossover into the MMA world over the years with the likes of Brock Lesnar, Matt Riddle and CM Punk all competing.
Rousey, of course, is the biggest name to give both a whirl in the women’s game.
But after seeing Becky speak about her thoughts of doing MMA, Rousey took to Instagram to laugh off the comments.
“LMAO. What she doesn’t realise is that I was very, very nice to her” Rousey commented.
While it’s unlikely we’ll see Lynch make the move over, you can never say never in sports entertainment.
As for Rousey, a WWE return at any point seems unlikely at the moment given her comments on the product over the past few years.
But as with above, you just never know and if the money and the storyline works, we might well see one more run for Rousey at some point down the line.
