Roy Keane is a fan of a footballer Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly look at.
According to Tuttosport, Spurs are potentially interested in signing Chelsea-owned Romelu Lukaku as a replacement for Harry Kane.
Christian Falk of Bild revealed this week that Bayern Munich are plotting a 2023 attempt to lure Kane from North London and, should they find themselves successful, the Lilywhites will have a difficult time replacing the 29-year-old.
Lukaku is also 29 and he’s on the books at a Premier League club again following a £98 million [GOAL] return to Chelsea during the summer of 2021.

However, eight goals in the Premier League last season saw Thomas Tuchel loan him to Inter Milan, where he’s currently injured.
Tuttosport add that Antonio Conte at Tottenham views the Belgium international as a ‘striker of his dreams’ and here’s what Keane said about the player in August of last year.
He told Sky Sports 13 months ago: “He’s the real deal. We think he’s brilliant already but I think from the few interviews we’ve heard from him, he’s more mature. There’s nothing wrong with a striker being greedy but today his link-up play [has improved]. They’ve bought the real deal for 90-odd million. It’s just a no-brainer.”
It remains to be seen if Lukaku is a legitimate target, but the North Londoners do need to be thinking about possibly replacing Kane.
With his contract expiring in 2024, if the England international hasn’t signed fresh terms by the start of next summer then there’s going to be a massive transfer saga hanging over him yet again, just like there was in 2021.
Tottenham will be hoping that he remains one of their own for the entireity of his career, but a shortlist of replacements is the clever thing to do and it’ll be fascinating to see what comes of all this speculation.
