Fabrizio Romano has reported that Tottenham Hotspur are confident of signing David Raya.
The Italian journalist has told GiveMeSport that Tottenham Hotspur are “confident” that they will be able to sign David Raya from London and Premier League rivals Brentford in the summer transfer window.
Romano has noted that the 27-year-old Spain international goalkeeper himself wants to go.
Tottenham, Raya and Brentford all want a deal to happen, according to the reporter.
Romano said: “For David Raya, they are confident.
“I think when all parties want the same, Brentford have already signed a new goalkeeper, the player wants to go, he’s not extending the contract and Tottenham want him. When they all want the same, I think there is a good chance to make the deal happen.”

Could Tottenham Hotspur sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur could be able to sign David Raya from Brentford in the summer transfer window.
It is hard to see the Bees stop Raya from leaving if he wants to go.
The main problem is the transfer fee.
According to The Times, Brentford want £40 million for the Spain international goalkeeper.
Tottenham do not want to pay that much.
Now, we do think that £40 million is a lot of money, and we do not think that Tottenham will pay that much.
Perhaps Tottenham and Brentford could come to a compromise and do a deal for around £30 million.
Hugo Lloris is not getting any younger, and Spurs need to find a suitable and younger replacement.
