Chris Sutton has said on Twitter that Graham Potter’s Chelsea should have been awarded a late penalty against David Moyes’s West Ham United at London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
West Ham played out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the London derby this afternoon.
It was quite an interesting match that had a lot of talking points.
Joao Felix, on loan from Atletico Madrid, had a goal ruled out for Chelsea for offside.
Kai Havertz thought that he had scored for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners, only for it be chalked off due to offside.
Tomas Soucek thought that he had scored for West Ham in the closing stages of the London derby, but it was ruled out for offside as well.

However, arguably the most controversial moment of the game came in the 89th minute.
Soucek appeared to handle Conor Gallagher’s shot inside his own box, but Chelsea’s penalty appeals were dismissed.
Former Chelsea striker and BBC Sport pundit Sutton believes that it should have been a penalty, as you can see from his tweet below.
