Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told Football.London that centre-backs William Saliba and Gabriel love playing with each other.

Arteta has said that Gabriel 25, and Saliba, 21, have a chemistry, and that the two Arsenal defenders enjoy playing with each other.

The Arsenal boss made the comments this morning when asked about any potential problems between the Brazilian and the Frenchman.

As reported by talkSPORT, Gabriel and Saliba were spotted pushing each other after Arsenal’s win against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the Premier this past weekend.

Arteta said about Gabriel and Saliba: “They are happy marriage. They love playing with each other but they are really demanding of each other and everything is fine.”

The Arsenal boss added: “Yeah, I don’t want robots, I want players with feeling with passion that they demand each other, but at the end, they have that chemistry and those two certainly they have that chemistry on and off the field and I love that even when we’re winning they want us to do better.”

Moving on

Now, you can understand why some Arsenal fans would have been worried about Gabriel and Saliba.

It is never nice to see team-mates get into an argument with each other in public.

However, it seems that there is nothing to worry about.

Arteta’s comments make it clear that Gabriel and Saliba have a great relationship with each other.

Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners are still also in the UEFA Europa League.

It could prove to be a hugely successful season for Arsenal.
