Tyler Adams is a player in demand, with Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United and Frank Lampard’s Everton among the clubs linked with the RB Leipzig midfielder.

The Athletic journalist Phil Hay has said on his podcast that Leeds are interested in signing Adams from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window.

Marsch worked with the USA international midfielder at New York Red Bulls and RB Leipzig.

BILD have reported that Everton are interested in signing Adams, described as “tenacious”, “aggressive” by Marsch on New York Red Bulls’ official website in March 2017.

However, it seems that Everton could miss out on the signing of the 23-year-old.

CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that Adams wants to move to Leeds, adding that Everton and Sevilla are interested in him.

Jacobs said on Twitter: “Tyler Adams really wants a loan move to Leeds. He’s already spoken to Jesse Marsch, who wants another midfielder despite landing Marc Roca. Leipzig open to a deal after Xaver Schlager’s arrival. Adams needs game time ahead of the World Cup. Everton and Sevilla also interested.”

Promising player

Adams has been at RB Leipzig since 2019 and has done well in the Bundesliga.

The American is one of the better young midfielders in the German league, and we think that he would make Leeds better.

The 23-year-old made 12 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig last season.

The youngster gave one assist in those games.

Adams also made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Europa League last season.
