Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has not been impressed by Tanguy Ndombele’s attitude, according to The Athletic.

The Athletic have claimed that Tottenham boss Conte has concerns about the attitude of Ndombele and his willingness to work hard for the team.

“Having made his evaluations on his players, Conte has concerns about Ndombele’s attitude and his willingness to work hard for the team, which are two of his absolute fundamentals,” states the report in The Athletic.

Does Tanguy Ndombele have a future at Tottenham Hotspur?

The Athletic reported earlier this month that Ndombele wants to leave Tottenham in the January transfer window.

Spurs themselves are reportedly open to selling the 25-year-old now, if they can find a buyer.

In our view, Ndombele does not have a long-term future at Tottenham, especially under Conte.

The Athletic‘s report suggests that the former Chelsea and Inter Milan head coach has not been impressed by Ndombele.

However, we do not think that Tottenham should offload Ndombele now.

It is unlikely that any club will pay £55 million for the former Lyon star and will be willing to cover his £200,000-a-week salary now.

In our opinion, Tottenham should keep Ndombele for the rest of the season.

The midfielder could come handy for Conte in his quest to get Tottenham back into the Champions League.

Remember, clubs are having coronavirus issues, and having Ndombele even just to make up the numbers is not a bad idea.
