Roy Keane has praised Newcastle United-linked Chelsea playmaker Christian Pulisic on ITV (6:30pm, November 21, 2022).
The former Manchester United midfielder believes that Pulisic, linked with Newcastle in the summer of 2022, is a talented player who has been affected by injury problems at Chelsea.
Keane made the comments about the 24-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, in the build-up to the 2022 Qatar World Cup match between the USA and Wales on Monday.
Pulisic started the match for the USA.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano said in September that Newcastle were obsessed with the idea of signing Pulisic.
CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs has told Give Me Sport that the American could be tempted by a move to Newcastle.
Pulisic has made three starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea so far this season.
The Chelsea no. 10 has scored one goal and given one assist in those games.
The USA International has made one start and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Graham Potter’s side so far this campaign, providing one assist in those games.

Keane said about Pulisic: “He is certainly a talented player and he has got a good goals record at international level, so it will be interesting to see how he does in the tournament.”
The pundit added: “He needs a bit of luck with the injuries, but he obviously a talented boy.”
