According to TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook, Liverpool want to sign Ruben Neves this summer, and you have to imagine he’ll be relishing the chance to play alongside one Reds player.
Indeed, Neves has previously been full of praise for Diogo Jota during their time together at Wolves, dubbing him an ‘unbelievable player’.
What’s been said?
Neves has previously had nothing but good things to say about Jota.
“Diogo he is an unbelievable player,” Neves said.
“He showed this last season as well. He had an injury but came back and worked hard and against Leicester he had a massive game. We are really happy for him.
“The hat-trick is very good for him and very good for the team. We need this and we are very happy for him. He is a very talented player.

Wolves’ contribution
If Liverpool sign Neves, they’ll have a strong cohort of talented former Wolves players at the club.
For years, the Reds were almost mocked for their tendency to sign players from Southampton with the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana all joining the Reds from the Saints, and now it seems as though they’re looking to Wolves for recruitment these days.
Of course, the Wolves link isn’t as strong as the Southampton one, but if Neves joins, they will have two fantastic players who used to play for the Midlands club.
It seems as though Neves and Jota could be reunited at Liverpool this summer.
