Manchester City fans have reacted on Twitter to the rumours involving Arsenal playmaker, Emile Smith Rowe.
The Arsenal academy product has been the subject of two bids – which have seemingly been rejected – from Aston Villa.
This is of interest to Man City supporters because it then raises the question as to what this means for Jack Grealish.
Whilst Arsenal fans don’t want to lose Smith Rowe, they might just provide those at the Etihad with a helping hand in landing one of the top talents in the country.
On paper, it seems as though Villa are lining up a replacement for their expert ball-carrier, but that’s really not the case with the Midlands outfit.
These Villa owners are ambitious, they have spent over £300 million since taking charge of the club, broke their transfer record on three occasions and Grealish has penned a new deal twice since they have arrived.
Whilst Villa hope Grealish signs a new deal, those at Arsenal are also hoping Smith Rowe does the same as they try to prize any interest away.
Either way, it’s going to make interesting viewing as to what happens with Grealish and Smith Rowe this summer because it would be some story if they ended on the same team.
