Alan Shearer has raved about Arsenal central defender William Saliba in The Athletic and has said that he has been better than Newcastle United centre-back Sven Botman so far this campaign.
BBC Sport pundit Shearer has said that Saliba has been superb for Arsenal so far this season.
The Newcastle legend has included the 21-year-old France international centre-back in his Premier League Team of the Season so far.
Shearer has picked Saliba ahead of Newcastle centre-back Botman.
While Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment and are aiming to win the title this season, Newcastle are in the running for the top four.
