One Arsenal-owned player has been going about his business very quietly but also very effectively.

All we hear about is how excellent Gabriel Jesus has adapted to life in North London and it’s undeniably true that he’s a massive reason as to why Mikel Arteta’s side sit top of the Premier League standings.

But there’s another striker on Arsenal’s books also doing exceptionally well this season, albeit on foreign soil.

The Gunners loaned Folarin Balogun to Reims during the summer transfer window and his goal return says it all about how well he is faring away from England.

Still only 21, Balogun has netted five goals and set up two more in seven Ligue 1 outings this season.

You can argue that Ligue 1 isn’t exactly as difficult as the Premier League in terms of standard or intensity.

Then again, he has scored more than people like Alexis Sanchez, who we know can do the business in both countries following an excellent stint at Arsenal under Arsene Wenger.

In fact, Neymar only has two more goals than Balogun and he’s played 86 more minutes of league football, the equivalent of nearly a full match.

The Hale End academy graduate actually has more goals than Jesus and Eddie Nketiah combined – [4] – so far this season and based on this form, it’s genuinely fascinating to see how much he’ll end up with.
