Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in Queens Park Rangers defender Angel Rangel.

Rangel joined Rangers in August 2018 on a free transfer on a five-month contract, as announced on the Championship club’s official website.
The former Swansea City right-back has established himself as an important player for Rangers, and scored both goals in the London club’s 2-2 draw with Stoke City away from home at the bet365 Stadium in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
QPR manager McClaren has given his take on the future of Rangel, and his comments will encourage Forest.
The 35-year-old right-back is on the radar of QPR’s Championship rivals Forest, according to The Mirror (print edition, page 63, November 17, 2018) (click here to read more).

As the following comments of McClaren suggest, Rangel is free to decide his own future, and given how Forest are doing and their ambition to win promotion to the Championship, Aitor Karanka’s side could be tempting to the Spaniard.
McClaren told Football.London about Rangel: “We’ve got a stipulation where we can keep him. He’s got that option, Angel, and it’s whether he wants to stay with us or not.
“But I think he’s been nothing short of a revelation, not just on the field but he’s been a great lad off the field.”
