Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports’ appearance on Celebrity Family Feud against Dallas Mavericks star Cooper Flagg’s family didn’t go that well.

Team Flagg comprehensively beat Team Barstool 543-0 on this special edition of the iconic TV show.

However, Portnoy’s unserious answers during the competition had host Steve Harvey apologizing to Cooper’s mother, Kelly Flagg, and saying he won’t have Barstool on again.

During a question framed, ‘What might a player have that a regular guy doesn’t?’ Portnoy’s attempt at guessing the most common responses led to his answer: bigger genitalia. Harvey gave his trademark stunned reaction before apologizing to Kelly Flagg.

“I’m so sorry, Ms. Kelly. It’s their last time on the show.”

Even Mavericks star Cooper was caught off guard by the answer, but it was a hilarious moment on the show.

The Barstool Sports appearance led to multiple viral moments of the team hilariously failing to answer the questions, resulting in them being wiped out by Team Flagg.

Portnoy even took to social media after the loss to say that the Flaggs were cheating by prompting the answers to whoever was on the podium.

Ultimately, the Flaggs dominated, with Cooper’s family stepping up. While the Flaggs and Portnoy were both big Boston Celtics fans until last year, Team Flagg is now repping the Dallas Mavericks, the team the Celtics beat for their 2024 NBA Championship.

Flagg averaged 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists as a rookie on the Mavericks last season, winning Rookie of the Year.

The franchise is now expected to be built around him, as they try to move on from the disastrous Nico Harrison era that cost them their franchise superstar, Luka Doncic, months before they drafted Flagg.
